Subject: Cooking Project: Yummy Snowflakes

Date: Tue Jan 9 13:14:

Author: Tonya (tonyamb@bellsouth.net)

This is what you need to make these yummy snowflakes:

-flour tortillas
-scissors (clean!)
-powered sugar
-adult to help!
-frying pan & heat source

Give the kids a tortilla. Fold it into quarters (don't crease it or it will tear). Cut pieces out to make cool snowflake designs when you open it! (You might want to practice the cutting with paper first.) An adult needs to help fry the tortilla snowflake until it's crispy. Then, sprinkle it with powered sugar. Snowflakes never tasted so good!
