Subject: "Blindfold" Artists

Date: Tue Jan 9 15:43:

Author: Tonya (tonyamb@bellsouth.net)

This is a simple game to play. It needs to be prepared in advance. Have some sheets of paper, colored pencils, crayons, or markers and some ideas for "scenes".

Divide the kids into groups of equal numbers (4-6 players) per team. Elect a member to be blindfolded. Before the game, think of a few "scenes"--examples: at the beach, at the zoo, at a restaurant, in math class,...

Now ask each group to "guide" their "blindfolded" member to draw a scene by instruction them (no touching allowed). For example,...."at the zoo": ask them to draw someone feeding a snake, a child petting a deer, ask them to draw a tree, lion in a cage,...

To make it more fun, group memebers can move around the other groups & disturb the other teams. This gets noisy!

After drawing everything, exchange the drawings & mark accordingly.
5-10 points for easy items & 15-20 points for harder items. Total the points!
