Subject: The Great Circle Sit

Date: Tue Jan 9 17:58:

Author: Tonya (tonyamb@bellsouth.net)

This is a good activity to end the day or end activity play time.

This really works! The last record for "The Great Circle Sit" was over 1,800 players!

The more players the better---no equipment required. Need a large open space.

The players stand in a circle, all facing one way. They step sideways into the center until they are all tightly packed together.
On the command "SIT", each of the players in the circle sits down on the knees of the players behind them.
If the players manage this without collapsing, the next stage is to hold their arms out. If this is achieved, they can try walking a few steps. IT WORKS!
Players may need to persevere a few times to get it right as it requires confidence and trust!
