This is a good indoor relay. Use large-sized balloons to really get the group waddling!
You'll want at least 12 kids or more.
What you need: --a large inflated balloon per person --2 beach towels per team
Place the beach towels opposite each team at an end line approximately 30 feet from the starting line. Arrange towels so they form a circular "nest" to contain the "eggs". Relay teams of 6-8 players each line up relay style behind an end line.
The first player on each team places his balloon between his legs, just above the knees, sticks his thumbs in his arm pits and waddles across the playing field. If the balloon should fall, the player squats down & tries to grab it with his knees. When he gets to his team's "nest", he "lays" his "egg" there and runs back to tap off the next duck in line! The race continues until each duck has laid his "egg" and rejoined the flock!
