Subject: Cooking Hot Dogs Without a Campfire

Date: Fri Jan 12 08:33

Author: Tonya (tonyamb@bellsouth.net)

This is what you need per person to cook a hot dog without a campfire:

--hot dog & bun
--water
--two paper towels
--heavy duty aluminum foil
--1 qt. size cardboard milk or juice carton
--matches

This really works & kids enjoy this outside cooking activity.

Wet paper towels & wring them out. Put the hot dog in the bun & wrap the whole thing in the wet paper towels, covering even the ends.
Wrap that in aluminum foil; be careful not to wrap too tightly, you want air in there. Place this in a milk or juice carton; put it in a firering or over some sand or soil & rocks and light milk carton with a match. The hot dog is ready to eat when the carton is gone.
